The production unit of “Sovetsk Paper” consists of subunits of JSC “Sovetsk Paper and Pulp Mill”, which today includes the following production subunits:
- Combined heat and power plant, which is able to generate 285Gkal/hour of heat power (in steam or hot water) and up to 36 MW of electrical energy. Wood preparation unit with a potential output of 1,848,000 cubic meters per year of wood chips.
- Sulphite pulp cooking production with 10 periodic digesters producing up to 150,000 tones of pulp per year.
- Pulp production, with two paste-presses, producing up to 60000 tones of air dry pulp per year.
- Paper production, which consists of the 4 paper producing machines:
- Writing-printing types of paper (offset and wallpaper paper) – 25,000 tonnes/year.
- Base paper for sanitary and hygienic products (tissue) – 15,000 tonnes/year.
- Paper for corrugation (fluting) and cardboard (test-liner) – 15,000 tonnes/year.
- Production of powder lignosulphonates – up to 117,000 tonnes/year.
- Production of corrugated cardboard and packaging from corrugated cardboard - up to 20 million sqm. per year.
- Production of conventional rubber and rubber-free rollers, including printing rollers.
- Production of wallpaper – up to 20 million pieces/year.
- Production of yeast – up to 11,000 tonnes/year.
- Concrete-mixing unit (JSC “StroyRemont”)
- Wood-processing unit - saw-mill and wood products workshop (JSC “StroyRemont”).
